The goal with The I Thank God Tee was to capture the excitement of the song by Maverick City and UPPERROOM of the same name. The song is super powerful and I wanted the shirt to boast with the same energy. The message is captured by giving each area of the shirt a prominent part of the song's lyrics.
The font Bely Display offers the boldness I was looking for and a hint of formalism as a heavy serif. Austin Pen offers a hand-touched accent in select areas.
